Chocolate Company Launch

The Apprentice meets Dragon's Den in one team building challenge! Chocolate Company Launch is an illuminating introduction to marketing with a sweet twist. The ultimate goal of this team building activity is to create unique, handmade chocolates. However, there's much more to it than whipping up sweet treats. Teams will also be required to think about product strategy, design, advertising, budgeting and pitching to potential investors.

How does it work?

Our events facilitators will be on hand to coordinate Chocolate Chip Challenge and get everyone in the right frame of mind with ice breaker activities.

The group is split into teams a facilitator will give them a fascinating insight into the marketing essentials, including:

• Developing a marketing and product strategy
• Designing packaging
• Creating a brand identity
• Product positioning and distribution
• Identifying a target market

Groups will get the opportunity to learn from chocolate case studies and use them to craft their own one-page marketing and communications plans.

The morning ends with teams using their newfound skills to prepare an advertising campaign to promote their products.

After lunch, a professional chocolatier will give the entire group a chocolate making demonstration. The chocolatier will be on hand throughout the afternoon to help teams create their unique handmade chocolates.

When they're all packaged up and ready to go, it's time for each team to pitch their creations to our panel of savvy investors in true Dragon's Den style! The winning team gets a prize, but with scrummy chocolates to take away, no one walks away empty handed.
