Pizza Hut serves up medieval banquet
For people with a sudden hankering for a medieval banquet - and who doesn't get that Henry VIII feeling every so often - help is at hand, with new heritage-inspired pizzas.A kings-and-castles-themed evening of entertainment might be a perfect accompaniment to the unusual take on an Italian favourite, as the chain serves up a Dover Castle Meat Feast, complete with mutton, goat and pigeon.
And as if that's not adventurous enough, the Dover Castle Fishy Surprise is an interesting take on the Seafood Lovers pizza, featuring a medieval green sauce topped off with eel. Now that really is surprising.
If all that chivalry isn't enough, evening entertainment with knights and maidens a-plenty could interest history nuts and might be perfect for offices looking for an unusual party, or groups of friends of families with something special to celebrate.
The strange culinary offerings are in conjunction with English Heritage and will be served up at Dover Castle on September 7th between 12:00 and 14:00 BST.
Open from 10:00 to 18:00 BST on most days, a family ticket costs just £34.80 and could be a fun day out for everyone to enjoy.
