Take a trip to Eton for a great activity day
The weather has been relatively good recently, no doubt inspiring many people to plan some activity days.If you're struggling to think of a destination and an activity, Eton could be a good option.
"Rowing is a good [activity] to do in Eton. You can get some practice in the water, ahead of the Olympics," advised Yolanda Copes-Stepney, destination PR officer for VisitEngland.
After spending some time on the water, why not pop over to Windsor and explore the area's royal connections?
Windsor Castle is definitely worth a visit, Copes-Stepney advised, especially for some fun days with kids.
That's because, at weekends and during the holidays, the castle often puts on re-enactments with knights and has a school where little girls can learn to become princesses.
A recent study by hotvouchers.com, which looked at the views of 2,000 mums and dads, found that parents are planning to spend an average of £266.80 on fun days out this summer.
