The Krypton Factory

We've given the cult TV show a team work twist! If you're looking for imaginative team building activities that test mental and physical mettle, The Krypton Factor will come up trumps. Get the competitive spirit pumping with a series of team challenges that require quick thinking, sharp observation, problem solving and physical ability.

Teams will join forces to conquer everything from giant-sized puzzles to our version of the show's famous obstacle course!

Fun, demanding and incredibly illuminating, The Krypton Factory is a brilliant bonding experience that gets groups to learn invaluable workplace-relevant skills in a fun and challenging environment.

How does it work?

Following a briefing from our events facilitators, the whole group will be split into teams and the fun begins! The rounds are outlined below to give you an idea of what's in store. Each team building activity has a time limit, so teams will need to think on their feet and work in harmony to ensure success.

Mental Agility

A test of memory and mathematical ability. We will show teams a number of 3D puzzles on a large screen. They will have to recall what they've seen and attempt to solve problems and answer questions based on the puzzles. It's a more challenging version of The Generation Game!

Will they remember if the third block from the top was red, white or green?
Can they answer correctly when asked tricky questions about the order of the blocks?

Response

Find out who is quick off the mark with this reaction-based shooting challenge. Each team member will get to test their marksmanship skills in a dark room using a laser rifle. It takes total silence, concentration and a cool head under pressure to hit those targets every time. The final score is based on a team average so it's a great way to remind individuals about the importance of the bigger picture.

Observation

Teams will learn skills without realising they're doing so during this challenge. Over the course of 15 minutes, they will be shown excerpts from three films. After the screening, our quiz host will ask 30 questions based on the movies.

General Knowledge

Fingers on buzzers for the quick fire round! Each team nominates a representative who will answer on their behalf. Conferring is allowed but they'll need to think quickly as our quiz host will press them for answers.

Intelligence

Teams must make their way to a designated area using brief coordinates supplied by us. Once there, they will need to use communication, strategic thinking and team work skills to conquer two head-scratching puzzles, the Tower of Hanoi and our 3D Challenge!

Can they relocate a pyramid moving only one block at a time and never stacking a large piece on top of a small one?
How will they fare when it comes to cracking the combination of our huge 3D puzzle?

Physical Ability

The grand finale of The Krypton Factory is the showstopper challenge! Teams can win or lose as a result of their performance on the obstacle course so prepare for a nail-biting experience. From the cargo net to the tyre step, balance beam and scramble net, there's plenty to keep teams on their toes.

The final race to the finish sends the adrenaline levels sky high!

After the teams have completed the obstacle course the tension mounts as our events coordinators gather everyone together to announce which teams will get to stand on the winner's podium.
