The Apprenticeship Challenge
Find out who has what it takes to secure a high-flying job in The City with this fun and imaginative team building challenge! Our version of the hit business reality show The Apprentice is a brilliant way to develop team work principles, leadership, negotiation and delegation skills.
Teams go head-to-head in a race against time to secure 10 unusual items from our shopping list. The budget is tight so they'll have to use their ingenuity and powers of persuasion to bag the items for the best possible price.
Which team will come out on top during the boardroom showdown? Our very own Alan Sweetener will be waiting to give the teams a true Apprentice-style grilling!
How does it work?
Our events coordinators will welcome everyone and outline the objectives of this team building activity. We supply everything teams need to complete The Apprenticeship Challenge, including:
- A local Ordnance Survey Map
- A shopping list of specialist items
- Detailed event information
- £300 to purchase the items
It's not simply a matter of going shopping. Teams will need to allocate roles, conduct research and take transport times and costs into account. It's a great way to illustrate the results of team work, good leadership skills and effective time management.
There are a couple of conditions that make this team building event extra demanding!
Transport costs need to be paid for out of the budget.
The less money teams spend and the less time they take to find the items, the more points they earn.
Penalties will be incurred for lateness, have insufficient funds or fail to purchase all the items on the list.
